Recognition of Customer’s Expectation of Privacy:
We recognize that our customers expect us to protect the confidentiality of their accounts, transaction, and related personal information. We respect each individual’s right to personal privacy. It is the policy of American Finance House LARIBAto guard the privacy and integrity of information provided by customers and consumers in accordance with the requirements of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Privacy Act.
Collection and Use of Customer Information:
We use information regarding our customers for a variety of reasons including facilitation of financing transactions, servicing a customer's account, identification purposes to protect customer's account and safeguarding against unauthorized access to customer accounts and information, identification of additional products and services that may be beneficial to a customer and identifying and mitigating potential risks or losses to us.
- Information customers provide directly to us, such as a Social Security number and personal income;
- Information about a customer's transactions or experience with us or our affiliates, such as account balances and payment history.
- Web-based tools when customers visit our web site, such as “cookies”; and
- Information we receive from third parties, such as consumer reporting agencies

Sharing of Customer Information With Third Parties
American Finance House LARIBA restricts access to non-public personal information to the following:
Our employees involved in the processing, underwriting and maintenance of the credit transaction;
Consumer reporting agencies;
Companies which provide support services to us (such as file auditing and quality control) and which agree to maintain standards of confidentiality similar to our standards and to use the information only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.
Potential investors and their employees, to the extent required to secure funding for the transaction;
Other parties, only as necessary to complete the loan applications, or as required by law.
Sharing of Customer Information With Our Affiliates:
We may share customer information with affiliated companies, including (a) information the customer provided directly to us such as personal income or other information disclosed on a loan application form; and, (b) information we receive from third parties such as a consumer credit report. This information may be shared with our affiliates that provide financial products and services.
Please note that customers may exercise their right to restrict the use of nonpublic, personal information which was collected as part of a consumer credit transaction subject to the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”.) A customer may make a “Fair Credit Opt Out” election at-- (a) the time the consumer credit account was opened by indicating in the proper place on account documents, or (b) any time within one month of the delivery of this privacy notice. Election may be made by informing us in person, by telephone or by mailing a written notice o to us addressed to the attention of the American Finance House LARIBA., Privacy Officer. To facilitate prompt processing of the election, the written notice should contain your name, address, identification information such as Social Security Number, account number/s to which the election applies, signature and date.
Limitation on Access to and Protection of Information:
American Finance House LARIBA maintains the following safeguards to protect the confidentiality of nonpublic personal information.
Customer files are secured in a central location with access limited to those involved.
Information about our relationship with the customers are not discussed with other unrelated parties.
Copies or extra materials which are not needed for the file are to be destroyed in a secure manner such as shredding.
Third parties who need to review the information must also have similar safeguards to insure privacy and integrity.
Our operations & data processing systems are in a secure environment.
Providing Privacy Information to Customers & Responding to Inquiries:
Annually during the duration of the financing relationship, American Finance House LARIBA shall provide a copy of our Privacy Notice. This notice is to be attached with or incorporated in the monthly billings; or prominently displayed on our web site www.lariba.com. Customers who have questions regarding our policy or the privacy of their customer information should contact us during normal business hours.
Web Site Safety Procedures:
Customer financial data which is submitted through the “Pre-qualification Page” on the web site, is encrypted using SSL (Secured Seal Layer) to the mail server. An assigned officer from AFHL down loads the client information daily and forwards it to the assigned Finance Processing Officers who are in charge of assembling the transaction files. The downloaded information is maintained securely in the customer files along with other information used in the loan processing and underwriting. Handling of customer files is done in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the company
